This lovely piece has a nice design style. Measuring 2" across, made of 2 pieces riveted together. The goldtone metal is stamped, the bottom circular shape as base to the rest. The top tendrils hold a center round faux moonstone glass cabochon surrounded by clear rhinestone rounds. There are also 3 oval moonstone glass cabs accented by a ruby red rhinestone. The cabs are openbacked and unfoiled. The closure is a double pronged fur clip- minor wear areas to the gold, all in all in great shape! This is such a pretty color combination! Lively aquamarine colornavettes in 2 sizes (5/8" & 3/8") accented by olivine rhinestones in various shapes and sizes. The setting is a Russian goldtone and the brooch measures 2 1/8" by 2". This piece does not lie flat- but is in layers. Signed REGENCY inside an applied oval plaque and in Excellent condition!
I really thought this was a Haskell piece until I turned it over! Measuring 3 1/4" by 1 1/4", the backing is 2 pieces of layered filigree- all of the beads, stones and brass leaves are attached. The largest molded glass piece is 18mm and is a pale pink swirled with darker pink (seen on the sides and underside) Back(click here). There are 2 sizes of molded and swirled beads in pink tones, clear round glass beads with swirls of pink and wires of seed beads in clear with pink swirls Close-up(click here). The molded glass beads have the tiny seed beeds at the tips. The goldtone is brassy and there are sets of leaves scattered throughout. Signed inside an applied oval Hattie Carnegie in script. A very pretty piece in Excellent Condition!
Measuring 3" by 1 7/8" this lovely cast brooch has a heavy antiqued potmetal setting and a Nouveau design. There are clear and amethyst colored 1/4" rhinestone rounds dotted throughout. The rhinestones are pasteset and there is an early rolling safety closure. Doctor Dress is a rarely seen older mark and I have been unable to find anything on the manufacturer. The pieces that I have seen all look to have been made in the late 30's -40's. This piece is in excellent condition and is incised DOCTOR DRESS on an applied rectangle plaque.
This is sure an interesting piece! Either a chatelaine or cape closure- it measures a full 12" extended. The 2 endpieces are firmly attached with chain link and have double prong fur clip closures. The goldtone fish body is nubby- looks like a puffer fish! He has orange deepset rhinestone eyes. The chain is a very heavy link. Very slight wear to the goldtone in high spots and signed CASTLECLIFF in raised letters on the back of the head.
This is a STUNNING, flashy brooch that measures 2 1/8" across. It is very three dimensional with layers of rhinestone studded petals. There are 2 layers riveted together- each with 3 twisted rope bordered petals. The rhinestone rounds are just brilliant and come in 4 sizes and 4 shades of blue. There are both medium and light blue AB stones and a light and even lighter blue regular finish rhinestone rounds. All are prongset into silver rhodium. The back is signed with REGENCY inside an applied oval plaque. In Excellent Condition and much prettier than the picture! Back(click here)
