This piece was hard to scan because of the way it is designed. It slants away from the pinback. The HUGE lavender-pink rhinestone oval measures 30X23mm, is openbacked but foiled and held in by 4 prongs. It is much clearer and lighter in color than the picture- I couldn't remove all of the reflection. Straight-on View(click here) There is a twisted braid of goldtone metal that starts on top of the stone and winds it's way back through the rest of the brooch. It weaves in between rows of deep pink, lavender and amethyst pasteset rhinestone rounds. The brooch itself measures 1 5/8" by 1 7/8"- but looks much bigger because of it's height. Measuring 3" by 1 1/2", this piece is constructed with 4 separate nautical seashore motifs. The white glass rectangles measure 1" and are open in the back. The navy blue glass pieces that are mounted on top depict a Fish (complete with scales), a Sailboat, a Starfish, and a white striped Life Preserver. There are four 3/8" white glass cabochon navette shapes at the corners for interest. The setting is goldtone and the Hattie Carnegie (with the copyright symbol) signature is in script on an applied plaque. In Excellent Condition and a GREAT summer rememberence! Back(click here)

This is a great piece of glass! (looks like there is dust on the scanner!!!) The brooch measures 1 3/4" by 2" and has the original hangtag. The oval glass piece has swirls of dark amethyst and white and the top is flat. It is closed in the back and french pronged. The goldtone is mellow and the border is a linked textured chain. Not Signed- many of the WD brooches were not! In Excellent Condition! New Old Stock.

This cute flower measures 2 7/8" by 1 3/4". The rich goldtone finish has both textured and smooth finishes for a nice contrast. The flower heads are made of stone and have flecks in them- not sure what they are. They are smooth on top and cool to the touch.
