This is a beautifully detailed flower that measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/4". It is cast in hollow sterling and has a nice patina. The clasp may have been replaced early on Back(click here), but the c-clasp is sturdy and well done. The petals curl over the center and the piece is without dents or dings. Signed STERLING on the back. A lovely older piece in excellent condition.
This sure looks like a Peruzzi design- I have seen one almost identical marked as such- but this one is only marked with "800" in a raised plaque. The brooch measures 2" across, has a tube hinge and rolling safety clasp. This is a heavy piece that is very detailed. The roses are lifelike and the shield has a crown on top. In Excellent condition- except for a bend in the pinstem. Back(click here)
Measuring 2" by 1 3/8" this brooch is a good, solid silver with a nice design. The catch is the older cross between the c clasp and the safety. In excellent condition and marked on the back with BM 925S and a fish or whale hallmark.
These scary faces look like Aztec masks! The faces are actually made in two pieces-front and back and fused together. The front piece with the detail is slightly rounded so the face "looks" right. There is a silver ring through tiny holes in the nose. The back is flat and is marked STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO and the eagle assay with 83 inside. The screwbacks are marked ALPACA. The earrings measure just over 3/4" and are in excellent condition.
Simply marked MEXICO, these Sterling and Onyx earrings would make a nice match to #101805 Mexican onyx & sterling bracelet listed here. The inyx centers are a flat topped pyramid standing high at 1/4". The beaded border is a nice accent. I did not polish these very much as I know some like the darker patina. Measuring 3/4" square, these are screwbacks.
