This Dazzler measures 1 1/2" by 2 1/4". The open wings are filled with AB rhinestone rounds. The body is deep set with a clear rhinestone baguette and has goldtone antennae on his head. I'm not sure of the age of this piece- may be of newer vintage- the goldtone finish has a "sandcast" feel to it and the brooch is heavy for it's size. All stones are full of fire and the finish is in excellent condition! Back(click here)
This is quite the detailed figurine! Measuring 1 7/8" by 1 3/4", the base is actually wide enough to let it stand on it's own! The central figure is a 1" Green Jade Buddah. He is standing under a tree that looks like a Bonsei tree. It is studded with polished real coral & turquoise pieces and tiny seed pearls. At his feet are more polished gemstones- these in hues of green -peridot and jade. This is not a restrike- it is an earlier Swoboda piece. The setting is cast goldplate. The bottom is signed Swoboda in script and a copyright symbol incised in a raised rectangle. In Excellent Condition! Back(click here)
This is an interesting piece! It depicts I think, a female- definitely Oriental or Asian and measures 1 3/4" by 1 5/8". The face is made of a red molded plastic and has very nice detail- she has side braids and a hat- could be a crown. At her neck are 3 rhinestone rounds and her bodice is textured. There are 2 ruby red collet set rhinestone rounds on her shoulders. The setting is cast metal- it is burnished goldtone with red overtones. The clasp is held by a rivet and is a little loose- otherwise the brooch is in Excellent condition. Back(click here)
This is an intricately carved?, molded? design done in ivory celluloid and handpainted on the front. The pin measures 1 5/8" by 1 3/8" and has a trombone clasp. The setting is brass and this is probably a European piece. The detailing is GREAT! and the figures are open. The couple look like they are courting and their costumes are very detailed. The celluloid piece is held in by prongs on the back. In Excellent Condition!
This great set even has THREE earrings! Together the Duette measures 3 5/8" by 2". Apart the bird fur clips measure 3 1/4" and 3 3/8" long. The Duette mechanism is signed Coro Duette in script and PAT. No. 1798867. One of the birds is signed DES. PAT. PEND. Theenamel shows little wear and the are all there. A few are starting to age, but they all look to be original. The flowers are enameled blues, pinks, red, yellow and purple. The earrings measure a tad over 1 1/2". There are 2 facing right and 1 left facing. The clips are very unusual. See pic. They have a strange closing mechanism and are marked PAT. NO.2021200. One of the facing right earrings has an eye missing. The enamel on this one shows more wear than the other two. The rhodium on all pieces is in excellent condition- one flaw to the set- One of the little "grabber" pieces on the back of one of the birds has broken off.Probably from the tension of the Duette mechanism. The fur clip prong closures are all tight- all in all a vey nice set in very good condition!
