Measuring 3" by 1 1/2", this piece is constructed with 4 separate nautical seashore motifs. The white glass rectangles measure 1" and are open in the back. The navy blue glass pieces that are mounted on top depict a Fish (complete with scales), a Sailboat, a Starfish, and a white striped Life Preserver. There are four 3/8" white glass cabochon navette shapes at the corners for interest. The setting is goldtone and the Hattie Carnegie (with the copyright symbol) signature is in script on an applied plaque. In Excellent Condition and a GREAT summer rememberence! Back(click here)
Measuring 1 5/8" by 1 1/4", this piece looks like the Whimsey Goldette pieces, but this is unsigned. The goldtone is the deep Russian gold and the shoe is complete- design on both sides, even the sole! The stickpins each hold a "charm"- a red rhinestone heart, a pansy with faux turquoise, a snake with a faux pearl and a bee with a red rhinestone. There is a raised flower and vine pattern all over the boot and a green rhinestone accent. In Excellent Condition. Back(click here)
This is such a COOL set! The necklace has an 18" chain with the early nubless springring clasp. It is signed STERLING. The pendant measures 2 1/4" by 1 3/4" including the bail.It has a crest with a crown as the base. Mounted atop that in the center is a three dimensional Knight in Shining Armour gripping his sword. There are dimensional banners on either side of the crest and the back is signed inside an oval- DANECRAFT STERLING REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. The earrings are screwbacks and are so nicely detailed! The crest and crown have open work in the sterling and the same lifelike Knight is mounted in the center. They measure 3/4" by just over 1" and are signed on the screw DANECRAFT STERLING with an R inside a circle. In Excellent Condition! Close-up(click here)
This little guy has a tube hinge and C-clasp closure. I believe him to be an older Japanese piece. There is one very similar pictured in Schiffer's "the Great Pretenders" Costume Jewelry book on page 112. There are 2 marks on the back that do indeed look to be Japanese writing. The body is a heavy brass and the wings are a brassy gold- very thick. The piece measures 1 1/2" by 7/8". The enamelwork shows some wear as seen in the picture. A very interesting piece to add to the butterfly collection!
For such a little guy, he packs LOTS of COLOR! He measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" and is a lovely mellow goldtone. The body is an emerald green 5/8" navette rhinestone, his head is a teal rhinestone round. The upper wings are sapphire blue navettes, the lower are smaller emerald green ones. There are golden rope twists upper and lower, the upper with teal rhinestone accents. The antennae are curled forward. In excellent condition- Very Cute!
Measuring 1 5/8" by 1 3/8", this lucky charm is unsigned. The clover leaves are goldtone bezels holding heart shaped glass scarabs. They are pink, blue, green and carnelian colored. The center prongset scarab is a light jade green. An unusual piece in Excellent Condition. Back(click here)
